Fun Fact:
Lonnie is a second generation painter by trade, as he learned the skill and expertise from his father, who at 80 years old is still painting!
Lonnie, our esteemed Safety Coordinator at SCS, commenced his journey with us in 2005, coinciding with his family's relocation from Pennsylvania to Florida. Before joining our team, Lonnie dedicated the early part of his career to education, teaching high school after earning his degree in Secondary Education - History from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
Lonnie's tenure at SCS began in the field, where his dedication and expertise propelled him through various roles, including Foreman and Superintendent. Recognized for his commitment to learning and sharing knowledge, Lonnie was eventually entrusted with the role of Safety Coordinator. His impressive credentials include certification as an authorized OSHA-10 hour and OSHA-30 hour trainer in construction. Additionally, Lonnie serves as a certified CPR instructor, diligently training our field team members on a regular basis.
